Bringing the letter to school, I talked to Saori a lot about Yamada’s memory.

Usami was a boy who was always studying and getting good marks in almost every subject.
He seemed to study hard and pay no attention to any other things-like us.

Usami answered, “I hope you will understand your position as soon as possible. Be quiet.”
Unfortunately, Usami and I took turn of this day’s day duty. We had to clean the board after the class, write daily report, and check the attendance of students and so on.
While cleaning the board, Usami checked my cleaning and claimed, “You should keep the board cleaner. Use clean eraser and do the better job.”
“That is none of your business!” I screamed, but he did not care.
On the particular day, I went to the park and waited for Yamada.
I imagined how he looked.
Then, suddenly, I found Usami was coming.
“Wow, Usami, what are you doing here? Do you have a date or something?”
Usami also looked surprised at me.
“Oh, Kokoro, are you planing to meet a boyfriend?”
“That is none of your business. If you have nothing to do, please leave here as soon as possible, because I have a very important appointment!”
Strangely, from my eyes, a drop of tear was coming out.
Usami stood up and close to me, wapped my tear.
He gave me a handkerchief and said, “I will give it to you. It is a very old one, so I do not care.”
I was shocked, because it was just the same as Yamada’s handkerchief.
I tried to say something, but Usami had already disappeared.
