これは、実は、描写の難しさだと思います。
チャレンジ②の「紙の辞典、電子辞書」を見返してみましょう。
どちらかと言えば、「電子辞書」の方がやさしそうですので、こちらを例にとっていきます。
まず、「軽い」。An electronic dictionary is lighter than a paper dictionary.
Usually, an electric dictionary contains several or sometimes tens of dictionaries.
Still, an electronic one is far easier to carry because it is as small and heavy as a smartphone.
「操作が簡単。すぐにターゲットの単語を見つけ出すことができる」
An electronic dictionary is easier to use. For instance, you can press several keys of it and then it shows the words that you were looking for.
たとえば、電子辞書のボタン。これをなんというのか。コンピュータのkeyというようです。それをいくつかたたけば、単語が出てくる。
「電子辞書なら、発音も実際の音がきけるので困らない」
If you use an electronic dictionary, you do not have to worry about pronunciation because today, most electronic dictionaries have sound-making function. You can hear the pronunciation of certain word by your ear so that you can master the sound of the word quickly.
電子辞書なら「音声機能」がついているので、単語の発音を覚えられる。
こうした、ごく普通の日常的な表現が、思いがけないほど難しいというのはよくあることです。
試験で、出てきたトピックには驚かなくても、そのアイディアを表現するのはなかなか大変！というのはよくあることのような気がします。
