(Introduction)
Under any political form, censorship is wrong in principle. However harmful, violently, and sexually, we should not take the freedom of expression.
For this principle, I would like to claim against censorship in any form.
(The first reason)
Advocates of censorship often point out the link between sex, violence and crime on screen and real life.
I would like to point out the fact that only those who originally have tendencies to violence will enjoy watching excessive violent movies or reading that kind of books.
Each individual’s taste and personality is formed first.
(The second reason)
No evidence has proved that the relation between playing violent games and being violent in real life. What people see, enjoy does not turn out to be their reality. Many people accept that two-hour mystery dramas are healthy stress release for citizens.
(The third reason)
The fact is that censorship does not change the number of people who use pornography. It is not pornographic films, DVDs, and pictures that turn people into criminals but not well-balanced people’s minds. Domestic violence, unstable family condition, and poverty will be the cause of crimes.
(Conclusion)
The laws dealing with self-control and self-regulation will keep the society safer and stable. State censorship is not the expected way.

いかなる政治形態であっても、検閲は認められない。 たとえ、暴力的であれ、性的であれ、わたしたちは他の人の表現の自由に干渉すべきではない。したがって、国家による検閲には反対する。
（第１の理由）
検閲に賛成する人たちは、見たものの影響が行動に及びとしている。しかし、ポルノを買うのは、もともとそうしたものを愛好する人たちであり、暴力的な映画など好むのは、もともとそうした傾向を持っている人たちだ。検閲によって、そうした人たちの好みが変わることはない。
（第２の理由）
暴力シーンの多いゲームをしていることと、暴力を好む人間になることとの間の関連を実証する証拠はない。むしろ、犯罪を扱うことの多い２時間ドラマが、視聴者にとってはストレス解消になっているのは、多くの人が認めるところだ。
（第３の理由）
性犯罪や暴力を生み出すのは、メディアではなく、個人の嗜好である。むしろ家庭内暴力や、貧困、不安定な家族関係が生み出すのだ。
（結論）
自己コントロールや、自制心をもつことが犯罪などが起こらない社会を作る。大切なのは、検閲ではなく、きちんとした生活を自重して送ることだ。
