How to prevent people from committing crimes?
What is the best way to prevent people from committing crimes?
I would like to say that the police should keep fingerprints of all the people.
Why? Our fingerprints have two great advantages.
First, each person has different fingerprints.
Second, our fingerprints will stay the same from birth to death.
Let me explain these two points.
Fingerprints are the mark that we leave on the materials that we touch with our fingers.
Each person has different fingerprints. Even twins have different ones.
Therefore, it is useful for the police to identify a person.
In fact, identifying a person with fingerprints is considered far more accurate than doing by DNA test.
I have ever read some books about DNA tests, and came across an article that says there are some people who have several DNAs.
In other words, some people show different results with the test.
On the contrary, fingerprints will never change.
When I was a college student, I worked as a cook at some restaurant.
While cutting vegetables, I cut part of my finger.
Part of my fingertip was cut.
But several days later, I found that my finger recovered and so did my fingerprints.
If you wish, you can see my finger, in order to check by speech.
Then I read about fingerprints.
The article said, “our fingerprints will stay the same from our birth to our death.”
Don’t you think it is a good reason why I suggest keeping the record of fingerprints of all the citizens is the best way to deter crimes?
