英検１級モデルエッセイ(Japan Should Not Open to Immigrants)

I am against accepting immigrant in Japan because of the following three reasons.

First, cultural diversity destroys tradition. If we have more and more immigrants in Japan, we have a lot of international marriages. Cultural differences sometimes cause tragedy. For instance, a woman married an Islam, and gave a birth to a baby. However, her husband believes that women have no right at all. He returned his homeland with their baby, and refuses to see her.
Many people find it hard to go over their cultural differences. 

Second, declining birthrates can turn around. Japanese women marry later than those in other nations, because their working conditions used to be as good as those in other nations. Recently, however, things turned around. Our government begins to understand it and to work hard to avoid obstacles. It is not long before people marry young and have more children.

Finally, labor shortage makes people cleverer. Since we have less children, we have to work more to compensate the gap. As a result, workers do a variety of works. They have to be creative in order to do more with less. Actually, Japanese workers are getting cleverer and cleverer.

As mentioned above, I think our government should not work hard to welcome foreigners
