dearth = a scarcity or lack of something;
ex, There is a dearth of evidence. (証拠が不足している)

restraint = (often restraints) a measure or condition that keeps someone under control

juncture = a particular point in events or time; a place where things join

どの単語を知っていて、どれを知らないかは、その人の英語学習歴と、興味や必要なことばの範囲でずいぶん変わってきます。勉強法もひとによってさまざまです。
